Trevor’s Unparalyzed Story

Trevor’s life hung in the balance as he was driving home from work one night. He was stopped at a red light and a semi-truck plowed into him.

“Half of my brain was destroyed and 2/3rds of my skull had to be replaced.” 

Trevor could not eat, walk, or talk for over a year.

He says the most he could do was blink his eyes. 

As he laid in his hospital bed, he could hear the doctor saying that it’d be a miracle if Trevor survived and if he did, he would never walk or talk again.

Trevor decided to put the POSSIBLE in the word impossible.

“It has been a long journey, and I have had so many struggles but the nurses and the doctors cannot believe who I am today.”

“Two years after my accident, I relearned how to walk.”

While, Trevor was learning how to walk, with a machine that supported his legs, his therapist told him about a church nearby. 

Trevor’s body wasn’t the only thing that learned how to live again, his soul did too!

“Before the accident, I rarely ever prayed, and I never went to church. I did not believe. But God found my heart and now I’m all in.”

Trevor has made the impossible possible by relearning to eat, walk and talk. He even lives on a Ranch in Montana! But, he says the biggest victory in his whole recovery is that he found Jesus.

Horse therapy helped him tremendously within his recovery, and his dream is to make this available for others as well.

Trevor has a ranch in Montana with this goal in sight.

“I have been given so much with my recovery and all I want to do with my future is give back.”
